"QOFFAH" (/Co-Fa/) translates to “basket” in North Africa, but it holds a deeper meaning – one of resilience, purpose, and growth. It’s a symbol of journeys taken, cultures intertwined, and diversity celebrated.
Inspired by its founder’s international story, Qoffah artfully combines the vibrant hues and intricate patterns of Africa, the exquisite craftsmanship of European leather ateliers, and the fearless creativity of the new world.
The story of Qoffah is profoundly personal and rooted in cherished memories. As a child, our founder, Meriem, would carry a basket filled with colorful fabrics, earning the affectionate nickname of "Miss Little Fabrics" from her grandmother. This basket became a symbol of her early connection to textiles, creativity, and the boundless dreams she began to weave as a young girl.
Years later, as a new mom, the memory of "Miss Little Fabrics" took on a deeper meaning. It became her mission to show her daughter the true power of pursuing dreams. Inspired by this, Meriem embraced her passion with renewed determination, creating Qoffah as a celebration of resilience, creativity, and the courage to follow one’s heart.
Qoffah embodies resilience, creativity, authenticity, and cultural connection. It celebrates individuality, honors heritage, and merges global influences to inspire bold dreams and meaningful journeys. Through its story and designs, Qoffah empowers people to embrace their roots and pursue their dreams.
